The Vetting Company was initially established in 2002 to provide employers access to information enabling them to make informed recruitment decisions based upon fact and not just subjective assumptions.

It was necessary to become an Umbrella Organisation with the Criminal Records Bureau in order to have access to the full range of information that is essential when ascertaining an individual's suitability when working with children and the vulnerable.

During this time we have facilitated CRB Disclosures for many national businesses, charities and volunteer organisations throughout England and Wales and have achieved a reputation for delivering a prompt, professional and dependable service combined with personal accountability.

The Vetting Company was formed by a retired Detective Sergeant from the Wiltshire Constabulary who has incorporated in-depth traditional investigatory skills to undertake quality enquiries and surveillance for local solicitors, businesses and individuals.

We are fully aware that today's Policing methods are not always helpful to businesses experiencing internal problems. This is an area where we have been particularly successful being able to advise upon procedures and undertake covert enquiries with positive results.
